United States To Maintain Oil Blockade on Cuba

Issue Mar 25-31 2026: Less than 24 hours after U.S. President Donald Trump announced that his administration would be lifting the oil blockade on Cuba, White House spokeswoman Karoline Leavitt told reporters that there would, in fact, be no change in policy, and that Washington reserves the right to intercept vessels from Mexico and other countries transporting fuel to the island nation.
