Issue Mar 04-10 2026: In 2025 alone, 2,798 murders of women in Mexico were recorded, 725 of which are being investigated as femicides. Mexican President Claudia Sheinbaum emphasized that the majority of femicides in the country are committed by individuals close to the victim.
