Issue Feb 18-24 2026: February 20, 2026, marked 30 days since the occupation of the Cargill terminal, a multinational agribusiness company, in Santarém (PA). The movement is led by the Indigenous peoples of the Lower Tapajós, totaling nearly eight thousand Indigenous people from 14 different ethnic groups. They demand that the Lula government revoke decree 12.600, which privatized rivers in the region, such as the Tocantins, Madeira, and Tapajós.
