Issue Jan 07-13 2026: The Honduran armed forces have announced that they will continue “supporting the decision of the National Electoral Council (CNE)” with regard to the results of the general election, held on November 30, which gave the victory to conservative presidential candidate Nasry “Tito” Asfura, who was publicly endorsed by U.S. President Donald Trump.
