New Report Indicates Guatemala Suffering from Human Rights Crisis

Issue Nov 19-Dec 07 2025: According to a new report issued by the Inter-American Commission of Human Rights (CIDH), the findings of which were presented at Guatemala’s Rafael Landívar University by CIDH commissioner Andrea Pochak on December 1, the Central American country is currently suffering from a human rights crisis characterized by the “instrumentalization of justice, historic impunity, and structural inequality.”
