Issue Oct 01-07 2025: A caravan of 500 migrants departed the Mexican city of Tapachula in early October heading for that country’s capital. Members of the caravan do not seek to cross over into the United States, but rather to settle in Mexico City, since new policies cracking down on irregular migration into the United States enacted by the Trump administration have made them change their plans.
