Issue Oct 09-15 2024: A special meeting of the Permanent Council of the Organization of American States (OAS) was convened at the request of Haiti, after the Dominican Republic announced last week the beginning of a repatriation process of undocumented Haitians that seeks to reach 10,000 people per week.
