Issue Oct 25-31 2023: The Colombian principal deputy subsecretary to the Oficina de Población, Refugiados y Migración, Marta Youth, gave updates on the state of the ‘Safe Mobility’ initiative, a program promoted by the United States in various Latin American countries to incentivize legal immigration by implementing official mechanisms and pathways to immigration that can be utilized in other countries.
