Despite Giammattei’s Claims, USAID Is Expected to Give U.S.$725 million against Irregular Migration

The United States Embassy in Guatemala informed this Monday, August 29, that it will invest US$725 million, as part of the agreement signed between the head of the United States Agency for International Development (USAID), Jennifer Graetz, and the head of the Secretariat of Planning and Programming of the Presidency (Segeplan), Keila Gramajo, in order to reduce irregular migration, governance and strengthening of justice, despite the complaints of President Alejandro Giammattei.
