The phrase “Venezuela se arregló” (“Venezuela has been fixed”) has been circulating on social platforms for quite a while now, to the point that it has become an often-used expression among citizens of the South American country. Many use it rhetorically, but some do use it affirmatively. The mantra about Venezuela being fixed raises many questions. Is this statement being strategically applied by the government to give the illusion of everything being okay? Is the reality of many Venezuelans aligned with what the President has recently stated? Are there some areas that have truly show any sign or improvement?
