In Cuba, all lesbian, gay, bisexual, transsexual and intersex (LGBTI) projects have to pass through the hands of the National Center for Sex Education (Cenesex), and LGBTI organizations not recognized by the State are discriminated against, forced to work without legal mechanisms to channel aid or to support themselves economically.
