Electrical Union of Cuba Denies “Blackouts” Deficit

The authorities of the state-owned Electricity Union (UNE) of Cuba assured consumers that blackouts “neither exist nor are planned,” although they did insist on so-called savings and compliance measures by the Government in order to reduce fuel consumption on the island.
