More Illegal Adoptions in Nicaragua

Two new mothers are demanding that their young children be returned to them. Several months ago, the children were taken away and sent to special protection centers by officials from the Ministry of the Family (Mifamilia) apparently through an abnormal procedure. In both cases they suspect that the purpose was to give their children up for adoption to foreigners.
