The Conferencia del Episcopado Dominicano (CED) stated that they may begin to put into effect provisions which would attempt to address the use of cellular devices during liturgical rites, such as mass, after Pope Francis stated that he found cellphone use in church “an ugly thing” and that it “causes sadness.”
