Venezuelan government officials were enraged at the Organization of American States (OAS), after secretary general, Luis Almagro, criticized Caracas and questioned the legitimacy of the December 6 parliamentary polls. 

The 10 year mark is approaching of No to ALCA (Área de Libre Comercio de las Américas); a historic event produced in Mar del Plata by a handful of presidents who initiated a new socio-economic and political era in Latin America.

President Evo Morales continued his tour throughout Europe. During his visit to Rome, he asked Chile to act under the “force of reason” in respect to the maritime demand, and specified that most of the world supports the Bolivian cause.
